I have an 8 year old that loves all things travel, art and culture. She gets inspired easily, just like her mama ✋. Watching this bloom I've done the best I can to find cool, interesting, creative outlets for her. Whether it be learning french with our amazing neighbors (more on this later!), creating and learning her own sense of style, or participating in a fun society like the Mr. Boddington’s Secret Society of Letter Writers I’d like to say I’ve got her covered! Check out what Mr. B’s SSLW is all about….

I came across this “society” when I fell in love with Mr. Boddington Studio’s products. In particular, the brand’s patterns. It is such an exceptional collection (always)…one we are constantly looking up to. As I traveled around the Mr. B’s website I came across the SSLW and knew this would interest Lucy tremendously. It is easy to sign up and not a huge committment. It has added so much spark to Lucy’s life. I mean, who doesn’t love receiving snail mail?! We even paid homage to the hand-written note back in 2018 (Snail Mail Post) because we adore it that much! Basically, Lucy signed up for the society sharing some info about her interests, her age, etc. Once Mr. B’s received her response via snail mail they partnered her with another child in another country (in Lucy’s case, India!). Lucy and her pen-pal now write letters back-and-forth to one another. Most of the time on stationery provided by Mr. B’s. She also receives a letter for her birthday every year. It is not a high commitment, but yet adds a good amount of spunk to Lucy’s day.
